Please bring your ticket to the festival, either a printed paper copy or show the QR code on your mobile device / phone. Please make sure everyone in your party has a unique ticket as a QR code will need to be scanned for each entry to the festival.
Gate A is found on the Church Point path which runs between the Gardens and the bowling greens and tennis courts. At Gate A you can find the Box Office and Merchandise Stand.
Gate B is found at the end of Blackmore Drive.
Gate C is found on Church Lane which runs between the Methodist Church in the north and the Parish Church in the south. Please note this gate will only open on Saturday, Sunday & Monday daytimes.

On arrival to the festival please head to Gate A where your ticket QR code will be scanned and exchanged for your festival wristband or lanyard. This allows you to come and go as you please throughout the festival. You can use any gate that is open, but you will have priority access at Gate A.

Access to the festival is only permitted from 7pm onwards. If you have a daytime music ticket along with an evening ticket for the same day you may stay in the concession and bar area of the Gardens from 5.30pm – 7pm.
Priority Seated Area Ticket Holders – Please head to Gate B where your ticket will be scanned. Make sure you bring your own seat.
General Admission Tickets – All tickets marked as General Admission (sold on or before 20/04/2024) will be treated as Priority Seated Area tickets, please head to Gate B on arrival at the festival. Please bring your own seat.
Standard Admission Ticket Holders – Please head to Gate A where your ticket will be scanned.
If available you will be available to buy tickets at the Box Office whenever Gate A is open. Please note discounts etc cannot be used at the Box Office but are only available via our official Ticket Tailor online box office.
All tickets will be scanned at the relevant venue – your ticket will say whether to head to the Parish Church or Methodist Church. Please ensure you arrive 15 minutes before the time on the ticket as sessions will start on time!
We are pleased to recommend that ample parking is available at the Sidmouth Rugby Club during the festival. Evening and daytime parking passes are available for just £5.00 payable on entry to the club either by card or cash.
Five-day parking passes Thursday 23 – Monday 27 May available for just £15.00.
Blackmore Gardens is less than 50 meters away from the car park.

Bar – Branscombe Brewery
This year inline with our eco commitments and in consultation with Sidmouth Town Council we will not be using any single use plastic in the bar. Branscombe Brewery are operating a reusable cup scheme; you can purchase a cup for £1 which you can reuse throughout the festival and take home if you wish! You can also bring your own drinking vessel which will be filled at the bar – glass is not allowed on site.

* A complimentary finger food buffet will be available on arrival for each of the evening concerts and early afternoon during each of the days of music. Further alcoholic drinks can be purchased from the bar. Complimentary soft drinks, water, tea and coffee will be available throughout.

Please remember to bring your tickets with you either as a QR code on your mobile device or a printed copy showing the QR code. Eveyone coming to the festival requires a unique QR code to gain entry, so make sure that everyone in your party has their own code – one QR code = one entry.
For those of you who have bought Weekend Daytime Tickets, Weekend Festival Passes or Silver, Gold or VIP Packages please head to the box office where your QR code will be scanned and exchanged for your festival wristband or lanyard.
Travel & Car Parking
The festival is being held at Blackmore Gardens, Blackmore Drive, Sidmouth, EX10 8LQ. There is no public car next to the Gardens, but there are plenty available within the town. Please consult the festival website for more up to date information.

Children at the festival
For the evening concerts children under the age of 5 may attend for free. For the daytime music children under the age of 12 may attend for free. Please be prepared to bring proof of age. All children under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by an adult.
Chairs and rugs at the festival
Seating is not provided by the festival.
Evening Concerts
Please feel free to bring folding chairs to make yourselves comfortable. No rugs are allowed for seating purposes for the evening concerts (just in case someone falls over you in the dimming light) but please feel free to bring a rug or blanket to keep you warm! Some of the artistes on the bill are more of a sit- down affair but the majority are of the get up and dance variety.
Use of chairs is only guaranteed with Priority Seated Area tickets – which will be a separate area at the front of the arena, seating in Standard Admission towards the back of the arena will depend on the space available and you will be guided by the stewards. If you have a medical need for seating then please contact tickets@sidmouthjazz.com to make sure that we save you space to accommodate your needs. There will be a dedicated wheelchair area at the festival.
Daytime Music
Please feel free to bring folding chairs and rugs to make yourselves comfortable. Some of the artistes on the bill are more of a sit-down affair but the majority are of the get up and dance variety.
When crowds are busier during the daytime we may ask that kept back beyond a certain point so there’s room for both the seated and standing (there will be signs and stewards to show you), this means there may be limited space for chairs at peak times – if you have a medical need for seating then please contact tickets@sidmouthjazz.com to make sure that we save you space to accommodate your needs. There will be a dedicated wheelchair area at the festival.
Fair Space Usage Policy
We want everyone to have an enjoyable and comfortable time at the festival. At busier times our stewards may ask you to limit the amount of ground space that your and/or your party are using, please work with us in making space for everyone at the festival. This may mean that during peak times of the festival we limit the amount of seating space available to keep everyone safe. Thank you for your understanding.
Disabled Patrons & Support Workers/Assistants
Our intention is to make everything we do accessible to all our audiences. We therefore offer a free ticket for support workers/assistants that travel with disabled patrons to ensure they are able to attend. We recommend early booking if you require wheelchair access as space in the wheelchair area is limited. Contact vicki@sidmouthjazz.com for more information.
