The first Sidmouth International Jazz and Blues Festival has been incredibly well received.

I am delighted to support this exciting new cultural event which brought many people to our town.

Cultural events are vital to East Devon and provide a much-welcomed boost to the local economy.

I am sure the festival will become a highlight in the East Devon events calendar, and I wish the organisers every success for next year.
