Day Tickets Announced
Excitement is building for the highly anticipated fourth edition of the Sidmouth International Jazz and Blues Festival, taking place from Friday 23rd May to Monday 26th May 2025.
Ticket demand for this year’s festival is expected to be higher than ever, and tickets for the opening evening concert with Soul II Soul on Friday 23rd May as well as all-day tickets for performances by Gabrielle, Curtis Stigers, and Eric Bibbbetween Saturday 24th May and Monday 26th May will go on sale exclusively to those on the festival’s mailing list starting Monday 3rd February!
Festival Director Ian Bowden urges fans to sign up for the newsletter on the festival’s website at www.sidmouthjazz.com to ensure they are the first to access tickets when they go on sale. After 3rd February tickets will be available to the general public starting Monday 10th February.
Additionally, a limited number of ‘residents’ daytime-only tickets will be available in early March through the Sidmouth Tourist Information Centre. These subsidised tickets, supported by Sidmouth Town Council, will provide access to the day music only from 10:00 am to 4:30pm between Saturday 24th May and Monday 26th May.
This year’s star-studded lineup includes Soul II Soul, known for their iconic hits “Keep on Movin'” and “Back to Life”, will open the festival on Friday 23rd May British soul singer and songwriter Gabrielle will headline on Saturday 24th May performing hits such as “Rise” and “Dreams,” along with new material from her latest album, “A Place in Your Heart”. Multi-award-winning American jazz singer and saxophonist Curtis Stigers makes a welcome return to the festival after his hugely popular appearance in 2023 and takes to the stage on Sunday 25th May bringing his smooth blend of jazz with timeless tracks such as “I Wonder Why” and “Never Saw a Miracle.” The festival will close on Monday 26th May with Grammy-nominated American blues legend Eric Bibb, a must-see for any blues fan.
As part of the festival’s exceptional value tickets the festival programme provides access to top-tier performances in jazz, blues, soul, funk, and Latin music on the festival’s main outdoor stage each day before the headline acts from Saturday to Monday. Festival goers will be able see artistes such as Nubiyan Twist, JTQ, Lawrence Jones, Malavita, Wolfgang Valbrun, Zayn Mohammed, Allysha Joy, Wonder 45, and many more. The festival is also proud to support local and regional talent through its ‘Love Local’ initiative.
Further details about the full festival lineup, free street music performances, vibrant street dressing, free music at local venues, and the ‘Love Local’ performance stage at Peacock Lawn will be announced in the coming weeks.
