The Charlie Hearnshaw Jazz Trio

Join us at 14 Miles East on Sunday 28 May from 1.00pm and relax with friends listening to cool brunchtime jazz.

This wonderful Jazz Trio feature three exceptional regional based talented musicians, Charlie Hearnshaw on Saxophone and Clarinet, Phillip Clouts on Piano, and Marcus Darc on Double Bass.

Charlie Hearnshaw plays saxophone and specialises in clarinet, which adds an extra timbre and variety to his playing.

You can expect to hear a wide selection of classic jazz standards, swing, Latin and Bossa Nova's. The Trios repertoire will also include compositions from the great Benny Goodman, Stan Getz, and Antônio Carlos Jobim.

Charlie has played, recorded, and broadcast with many top jazz players from the UK and abroad including Don Weller, Andy Sheppard, Alan Barnes, and Slim Gaillard.

Philip Clouts career has included appearances at the legendary Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London, Glastonbury festival and on the BBC Radio Jamie Cullum show.
